JLL IC400 Indoor Bike
The JLL IC400 indoor bike provides a smooth and natural riding experience due to the belt drive system and rubber-based stabilisers. The bike comes with an impressive 20kg flywheel that is sure to give even the most advanced riders a good workout.
An onboard computer allows you to choose between settings and has a large display, which makes viewing your data is a simple task. The onboard computer is all about functionality, and if you are not too technical, you’ll be pleased to know the computer is easy to use. It is basic but still provides all the relevant information you need to keep track of your workouts. The readouts the computer provides are speed, time, distance, calorie, odometer, and pulse readings. Unfortunately, there are no pre-set programs for you to use, but this is normal for an exercise bike in this price bracket.
As we touched on earlier, the impressive 20kg flywheel will have you sweating in no time as you push through the gears while at the same time providing a smooth, clean ride. It’s smooth when you set off, and as you build up momentum, the resistance of the flywheel provides a highly intensive workout. If you like to take things a bit easier, you can reduce the resistance by adjusting the dial, which is standard in most indoor bikes.
Although not the quietest bike on the market, the belt drive system means that it’s not as loud as many of the chain-driven models out there and quietens down a little during use. The resistance toggle is located on the bike’s midsection and allows you to change the resistance, and with the option of manually changing the resistance, you can fine-tune your workouts.
Ergonomically Designed Handle Bars
With fully adjustable handlebars that double up as armrests, you will be able to find the best riding position. Especially important for those long cycling sessions, as you’ll be able to ride further and get more from your workouts. It will also help keep your back posture in a position that suits you the best.
A common feature in most fitness equipment with handlebars is built-in pulse sensors, and the JLL IC400 incorporates these into the centre of each handlebar, meaning you get accurate readouts of your heart rate while cycling.
You’ll be happy to know the IC400 is designed to be compact and includes transport wheels that allow you to move it around when not being used.
The size of the frame is 130cm (H) x 130cm (L) x 54cm (W), which is small enough for those that have space limitations.
The JLL IC400 indoor bike comes with a slightly narrower seat than the usual indoor boke seat and maybe an issue for some riders. It’s not a problem when you can purchase a comfortable seat cover, like this one here on Amazon!
Or jump over and take a look at the other indoor bikes we have on our website.
You can adjust the seat’s position and height, as it’s fully adjustable in all directions, which is always a benefit as some bike seats on other models, are only height adjustable.
The pedals of the JLL IC400 use a 3-piece crank system and are lightweight but strong, and can hold someone up to 150 kg in a sprint stand. They come with toe cages for your feet to fit securely. The toe cages allow for greater confidence when cycling at fast speeds and also allow you to exert more force during intense training sessions. They help to provide a more reliable cycling experience and offer that little bit extra safety when going at a fast pace.

The bike does require some assembly, but the bike does come partly assembled to give you a head start. It comes with easy to follow instructions and shouldn’t take any longer than 20-30 minutes to complete. It’s not light weighing (40 kg), so it’s best to find the spot it’s going to be situated before building to make things a bit easier.
It weighs over 40kg once assembled. We would recommend finding the perfect spot in your house before assembly, or you may have problems trying to move it.
