The Maxxus 8.1 is equipped with two complementary resistance systems. Air resistance is generated by the flywheel inside the main unit, creating realistic rowing feel while rowing faster with more power, air resistance increases, while rowing slower with less power automatically decreases air resistance. It is also possible to control the resistance levels via the integrated electronically controlled magnetic resistance system.
